I am the Middle School Computer Instructor for West Plains R-7 Schools, an Instructional Media Technology instructor for Missouri State University on the West Plains Campus, and an online facilitator for Missouri e-Learning

I have 18 years experience as a classroom teacher in grades K-12 and 25 years experience in the field of computer programming and technology development.  I  hold the MSE and BSE degrees in Early Childhood/ Elementary Ed from Arkansas State University. I  received my Specialist Certification in Online Course Design from EdLeaders® and a Specialist Certificate in Instructional Technology from Missouri State University.   Currently, I am a doctoral candidate in Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis at the University of Missouri--Columbia.   I also serve on Governor Matt Blunt's Rural High Speed Internet Access Task Force.

I was a 2006 Disney Teacher of the Year candidate, 2006, 2007, 2008 Heritage Registry Who’s Who among Teachers, an FY02 eMINTS program participant and a veteran participant in the Missouri e-Coach pilot program. I will be presenting at the Innovations in Learning Conference in San Jose, CA October 14, 2008.
